Lovely open cafe with nice views to the waters. The staffs were extremely friendly and attentive to serve us when we were ready. The whistler burger was soft and tasty and would recommend it to anyone. Definitely worth a visit for some breakfast or lunch. There were a few seats available for us immediately when we arrived at 12pm on Saturday.
Had an hour wait for a $22 (plus 10% surcharge) smoked trout salad and it was poor. It looked fresh but it had minimal trout under a bit of lettuce. The lettuce had dirt in it. The chef requested the staff to tell me it was pieces of orange... I know what dirty lettuce is..It took so long for my salad to come that my partner was finishing her small meal that took 45mins to prepare. We ordered at the same time. The wait staff were nice and offered it to be remade but there was no way I would wait another hour for the same poor quality dish. The view is amazing but that's about it.. I never write reviews like this so I hope the chef takes a look at what they're doing wrong and sort it out....
Great spot for brunch although dinner isn't too bad either! Popular for dinner in summer so recommend booking. No reservations for breakfast or lunch. Fantastic location but the front window seats can get very hot in the morning as the sun shines directly on themFood solid. Has kids menu
I had a very lovely experience here. We arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed (we were quite worried about how the staff would react to us staying and the quality of food we would be served). We were politely told that the kitchen will close in 5 minutes, and they were still happy to let us in.We were told to sit anywhere, the waiter came to our table with the menu's, special, cutlery and bottled water. Even though we came close to closing, the food that came out seemed as if it was given the same attention to detail and care as if it were any other time. Furthermore, the restaurant was very lovely. The view it had of the park was nice. The restaurant itself was also clean and had quite a nice atmosphere. The food was amazing and the service was lovely.Definitely would recommend this place to anyone in Kiama.
Lovely setting with water views and a nice vibe. Food was tasty and arrived quickly; good selection for breakfast. Coffee hot and delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. Funky bathrooms!
