Unfortunately this was one of the worst dining experiences my wife and I have had in our lives. For the first time ever I genuinely contemplated walking out on a bill. It took over 2 hours for us to be served three dips, some corn chips and a vegetarian fajita (which didnt even taste good - incredibly over cooked)We had to ask the staff to refill our water bottle because none of them ever bothered to come to our table. No one ever checked in or asked how everything was going. 3 other tables all complained about the poor service as well and were given complimentary drinks to try to quell their disappointment. The worst part was at the end the manager didnt even have the hide to ask how the night was (perhaps he knew he was going to get a really negative answer) nor did he apologise for the poor service. I genuinely wish Id walked out and not paid. Please do not waste your time and money by going here.
Great food. Opens at 12 for lunch. Allowed us in with a baby at 1145 so we could feed her before we had lunch there. Great friendly staff. Service great. Had nachos for lunch. Definately a share plate. Absolutely delicious. Even the baby enjoyed the guacamole and sour cream side together. Thank you
Would have loved to give it 3.5 stars....We had dinner at El Corazon a few nights ago. First impressions were really nice, most tables were taken and the atmosphere of the place was good. We placed our order for our mains and then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. And the staff didn't really return to our table until about an hour after ordering when we finally were served our food. At this stage it would have been nice to hear a reason for the delay or an apology.Only when we mentioned it on the way out (needless to say that we didn't fancy ordering a desert as we feared it would take equally as long) the waiting staff mentioned that we surely were aware they had some issues in the kitchen (they ran out of a few items ie. sour cream and were short staffed).The food was really nice (once we got it) and it's a shame that the delay in service put a dampener on the night.
Yet another great night out! Thanks to Trent and the team at El Corazon for keeping our party of seven entertained, well fed and especially well watered! Always a great local night out. We'll be back soon!
This is place is deliciously fun, the staff were so friendly towards us. they also had exquisite decor as well, we went there 2 nights in a row!A must if in Kiama
