A SurpriseWe were told that the food & service here was very good. We decided to give it a go. Being lovers of Vietnamese food we were open. The service was excellent. The staff lovely with beautiful smiles & a genuine interest in their roles. The food was also excellent. Servings are quite small, however still ample. Will be going again.
Went here for dinner, lately based on the reviews that I read here and, apart from a bit of slow service at the start, it more than met the expectations that I had based on those past reviews. The food was fresh and tasted great, the wine list was simple but the chardonnay we picked was surprisingly good and its BYO for wine if you want to bring your own. So in summary a great pace to eat that is reasonably priced (but book ahead during peak periods because we watched more than a few people get turned away because it was fully booked).
First time eating Vietnamese. I was delighted. The flavours and foods feel fresh and light. Only one of our party (of 14) was disappointed with the food we got. My nephew lives in inner western suburb of Sydney and eats Vietnamese often. He reckoned the food here was very good but expensive compared to what he can get around I'm disappointed it has taken me so long to try this restaurant out. Recommended.
This place deserves its high rating! Food and service is impeccable! We had the roast duck curry - generous portions of duck and even the inclusion of pineapple(which we thought was a little odd) was great - and the ling and prawn curry. This curry was something wed been searching for after having had it previously, this one did not disappoint! Vietnamese coffee was authentic and of course delicious with its generous serving of condensed milk. Definitely give it a try!
