This used to be a wonderful, attentive local business. We used it when Lorraine ran the business and she was excellent and helped us through our first home purchase. The business has been sold and is now being run by Carter Ferguson Lawyers. The fantastic service is gone and you are now charged as if a lawyer is working for you. We couldn't get them to reply to an email or return a phone call the whole time they were 'working' for us. We got one standardised letter that they couldn't even be bothered to personalise so most of it did not apply to us. Despite all of this the fee was then over $200 higher than what was quoted due to 'unforeseeable issues' but we are yet to have an explanation of what they were. We won't be using this business again and unfortunately would not recommend Carter Ferguson or LC's.
