My experience was one of wonder, I couldnt believe living in Sydney for 50 years and have never see Cathedral Rock. Its clear water, beautiful location, sensational scenery makes this place a must see. My wife and I where there just the other day and we where the only ones on the beach!! It was fantastic. Dont tell anyone!!
Looking first at the rock from the top, and I was like... meh... Come on, its a rock. Then I headed down to the beach, and I started jumping among the rocks and climbed to the cliff. It was a completely different experience from the bottom. The Cathedral rocks look huge like monsters, and holding on you he cliff looking at the ocean below, you definitely feel the power of nature. Amazing!
This was so rad. I've been visiting kiama for almost 30 years now and this was my first trip to cathedral rocks. We took dinner down to the rocks and jagged a near full moon. It just doesn't get any better. I loved it.
Beautiful rock formation out in the sea. Access for above views is a little tricky, and requires walking along the side and backyard of an end house in the residential area. However, once arrived you will be rewarded with magnificent reviews left and right!
A short walk from Jones beach. Some unusual rock formations. Great to visit at sun raise and sun set. The shadows create some wonderful effects. Plenty of different nook and cranny to explore. You can also have a swim
